Assistant Preschool Teacher- Mt. Vernon

This role involves assisting the lead preschool teacher in preparing and executing daily activities and lesson plans, while incorporating the child's home language and culture into center activities. The assistant teacher is also responsible for providing a safe and healthy learning environment and supporting the evaluation of children's progress.

Candidates must possess a preschool child development associate certificate (Cda) or equivalent, or an aa/Ba degree with 30 ece credits, along with extensive knowledge of child development theories and experience in a federally funded environment. Applicants must also be at least 18 years old, have a valid driver's license, and pass required background and health clearances.
