Early Learning Teacher Assistant (Traveling Donora Area)

The early learning teacher assistant will assist in setting learning goals and planning learning experiences by integrating knowledge of each child’s individual characteristics, including temperament, interests, culture, and abilities. This role requires working collaboratively with families and a range of specialists to support the children's development.

A high school diploma or equivalent is required, and an associate degree in early childhood or a related field, or a child development associate (Cda) credential, is preferred. Candidates should ideally have one year of professional experience working with children aged 0-5 or volunteer service in a head start classroom, and must obtain a cda within 12 months to two years of hiring.
