The School of Nursing and Health Professions (SoNHP) at the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh invites applications for a tenure-track Assistant/Associate/Full Professor in the Doctor of Nursing Practice Nurse Anesthesia emphasis program, with anticipated start date in July 2026. To fill this faculty position, we are seeking qualified applicants who are collaborative, energetic, and have expertise in nurse anesthesia. Responsibilities include teaching, scholarship, and service. Rank will be determined upon review of qualifications.

Compensation: Competitive, commensurate with qualifications and experience

Required qualifications

  • Graduate of an accredited nursing and nurse anesthesia program associated with a regionally accredited institution of higher education
  • Doctoral degree (PhD, DNP, DNAP) appropriate to content area or near degree completion (final semester)
  • Current certification by the National Board of Certification and Recertification eligible for Nurse Anesthetists (NBCRNA)
  • Unencumbered license as a registered nurse and/or Advanced Practice Registered Nurse and eligible for licensure in the state of Wisconsin
  • Five or more years of clinical experience

Preferred Qualifications

  • Graduate level teaching experience
  • Distance/online teaching experience
  • Evidence of scholarship and service
