Social Studies Teacher

The social studies teacher is responsible for planning, developing, and delivering standards-Based instruction to groups of 20-25 students, including providing small group tutoring to deepen mastery of history. Essential duties involve incorporating technology, conducting assessments, and designing challenging curriculum to ensure overall student development.

Candidates must possess 2-3 years of teaching experience in a public high school or charter school setting, along with a bachelor's degree in history, and a valid new york state certification (7-12). A master's degree is preferred.
