The Bilingual Education Resource Specialist collaborates with teachers to provide targeted support for Multilingual Learners. They also facilitate a learning environment that promotes social and academic success related to language proficiency.
Candidates must have at least 60 college credits or an associate degree, with proficiency in English and an additional language. A bachelor's degree and experience with multilingual learners are preferred.

In pursuit of this mission, we are looking to hire a Bilingual education Resource Specialist. The Bilingual Education Resource Specialist assists with accelerating English language acquisition and proficiency in the academic content areas of Math, ELA, Science and Social Studies. This role provides additional instructional support to assist with second language acquisition, bridging cultural gaps and acculturation into the US educational system to Multilingual Learner students at low incidence schools district wide.

\n $23.03 - $29.36 an hour This role is paid on the LSEA Hourly Salary Schedule. They are paid from Column CC, and unless otherwise mentioned, will be paid for 40 hours a week during the school year. Most all candidates will start at the bottom of the range provided, unless there are extenuating circumstances. \n
