Athletic Trainer Collegiate, Full Time, Days

The athletic trainer will provide comprehensive athletic training services for practices, games, clinics, and marketing events, while adhering to the mission, vision, and values of decatur morgan hospital. Key duties include identifying injury risk factors, making appropriate physician referrals, performing on-Site injury evaluations, and providing patient treatment and education according to state licensing acts.

Candidates must be a certified athletic trainer (Atc) and must obtain licensure by the state of alabama within 180 days of hire, along with bcls certification after the provisional period. A graduate degree from an approved college/University program is required, along with excellent communication skills for working with patients in a fast-Paced setting.
