CAVA- Speech & Language Pathologist Assistant - Eligibility Pool

The speech language pathologist assistant will provide treatment for k-12 students with various communication disorders, utilizing assessment tools and making recommendations to the iep team based on findings. Responsibilities also include assisting with record maintenance, data collection, preparing materials, scheduling sessions, and providing services as specified on student individual education plans (Ieps).

Applicants must possess a permanent california residence and a speech-Language pathology assistant license issued by the relevant california board at the time of application. Required qualifications include an associate or bachelor's degree in an slpa or related program, completion of at least 100 hours of supervised fieldwork, and demonstration of slpa competency.
