Assistant Toddler Teacher

This role involves providing direct supervision to a group of toddlers within the enrichment program, fostering positive and nurturing relationships with the children and building cooperative relationships with parents and caregivers. The assistant teacher supports the lead teacher by assisting with implementing culturally relevant and developmentally appropriate lesson plans while adhering strictly to all program standards for safety and cleanliness.

Candidates must be at least 18 years old and have previous experience working with young children, preferably in a childcare setting, with mrtq level 4 preferred. Required qualifications include current cpr, first aid, and aed certifications, along with completion of child abuse prevention training within 30 days of hire, and passing a state of maine childcare provider background check.
