Group Exercise Instructor

The group exercise instructor is responsible for leading members through prearranged fitness formats to enhance fitness, strength, and endurance while prioritizing member safety. This includes preparing for classes, introducing the format, monitoring participants for correct form, offering variations, and ensuring a motivational environment.

Candidates must have at least six months of experience teaching in a group exercise format and possess knowledge of safe exercise technique, basic physiology, and body mechanics. Required qualifications include a group fitness certification (Ace, afaa, acsm, or specialized) and the physical ability to perform various exercises.
