ESOL Instructor Refugee Services (FT $23.00/Hour)

The esol instructor is responsible for creating lesson plans and directly teaching english as a second language to adults using a comprehensive curriculum, while also assessing proficiency levels and making necessary adjustments. They must network for referrals, maintain timely record-Keeping for funding compliance, supervise staff/Volunteers, and monitor participant progress.

Candidates must possess a tesol degree and/Or certification from a state licensing agency, along with a minimum of two years of classroom tesol instruction experience using a structured curriculum. A valid nys driver's license and required clearances, including state central register clearance, are mandatory.
