Core responsibilities
The behavioral health technician, referred to internally as a care coordinator, supervises and supports adolescents through daily routines, including meals, hygiene, and structured activities in a 24/7 residential setting. Responsibilities also include monitoring client safety, managing crises using de-Escalation techniques, and administering medications under supervision.
Requirements summary
Candidates must possess a high school diploma or ged and a valid california driver's license with a clean record, as they will be transporting clients. While no prior healthcare experience is required as full training is provided, applicants must be first aid/Cpr certified or willing to obtain certification immediately upon hire.
