Early Childhood Teacher

The early childhood teacher is responsible for planning and implementing a developmentally appropriate curriculum under the director's guidance, ensuring it supports the social, emotional, cognitive, and physical needs of enrolled students. Essential functions include daily classroom management, direct supervision of children, conducting student assessments, maintaining records, and fostering positive relationships with parents.

Candidates must possess an aa degree in early childhood or a related field, or a child development associate credential, along with a ny state early childhood education teacher certification. A minimum of two years of teaching experience with preschool-Age children is required, along with knowledge of youth development principles and the ability to ensure a safe classroom environment.
