The riding instructor will provide traditional english and adaptive horseback riding instruction and equine-Assisted activities, focusing on enhancing participants' physical, emotional, social, cognitive, behavioral, and educational skills. Responsibilities include managing lessons, handling equines safely, ensuring risk management, and managing participants, staff, and volunteers.
Requirements summary
Candidates must possess a massachusetts riding instructors license and cpr/Aed certification, with a path tri license preferred or in progress. Required experience includes working in an equine setting in a professional agency, knowledge of equine-Assisted recreation principles, and safety procedures.
