Responsibilities
Responsible for performing functions under the direct supervision of a registered and licensed Radiologic Technologist. Positioning patients' radiographic exams, the aide is also responsible for preparing exam rooms, equipment, supplies, and contrast medications. Must flex to accommodate volumes. When a Radiology student clinical intern is on-site and working as an employee of the Diagnostic Imaging Department, The Radiology clinical intern must not make any radiation exposures in accordance with the Texas Board of Medical Radiologic Technology.

Job Requirements
Must be currently enrolled and in good academic standing in Amarillo College Radiography Program. High School Diploma or GED equivalent. Must be enrolled in an accredited radiography program with an anticipated completion date as outlined in the radiography program. BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care.
