Responsibilities

The Clinical Education RN is responsible for developing, implementing, and evaluating education programs to support clinical staff competency, professional development, and regulatory compliance. This role serves as a subject matter expert, mentor, and facilitator for nursing and allied health education across the organization, ensuring excellence in patient care through evidence-based practice and continuous learning Maintain clinical competence and provide direct patient care by working clinical shifts as needed to maintain bedside expertise and ensure alignment with education with current clinical practice.

Qualifications

Job Requirements

  • Current and valid RN license in Texas. Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN). Enrolled in Masters of Nursing (MSN) program. Minimum 3–5 years of recent clinical experience in acute care nursing. BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care. Advanced Life Support and Pediatric Advanced Life Support within 30 days of hire.
