Preferred Qualifications

North Carolina teaching license (Out-of-state teaching license - must be in process of attaining North Carolina teaching license) Knowledge related to IEP development and special education compliance, behavioral strategies and trauma-informed education Knowledge of curriculum and/or program development and evaluation Job Description Summary: The primary responsibilities of the Academic Teacher, Crisis Services is to provide consistent, individualized education that ensures students continue making academic progress while also supporting their emotional, behavioral and therapeutic needs.
