Head Start Teacher

The lead teacher is responsible for implementing a child-Centered curriculum, managing challenging behaviors through observation and intervention, and documenting children's progress to individualize learning for 3–4-Year-Old children in a head start classroom. This role also involves creating strong partnerships with families and ensuring a safe, consistent classroom routine compliant with licensing requirements.

Candidates must possess an associate or bachelor's degree in child development, early childhood education, or equivalent coursework, or meet the requirements set by the head start act. The position also mandates passing a physical exam and background checks, and requires local or long-Distance travel up to 10% of the time.
