Preschool Lead Teacher

The lead teacher is responsible for planning and implementing a program of activities that promote the social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development of enrolled children. This includes creating a safe environment, supervising daily class functions, and cultivating positive relationships with children, families, and staff.

Candidates must possess a high school diploma or ged, be at least 18 years old, and have two years of related experience or training, although training is offered for the right person. Essential certifications include a valid tb skin test, mmr proof, covid documentation, a food handlers permit, and current first aid and cpr cards, along with the child care basics (30 hours course) or equivalent.
