About the role

Teachers are responsible for completing required training, utilizing the LifeWise curriculum to plan and implement age-appropriate lessons for grades 6-12, and investing in students through relationship building and prayer. They must also maintain accurate student records, keep the classroom organized and clean, and act as an ambassador for LifeWise Academy in the community.

Overview

LifeWise Secondary Education teachers will demonstrate in-depth Bible knowledge and outstanding teaching abilities for students in grades 6-12. The ideal candidate is an active church participant with excellent communication and interpersonal skills who is caring, committed and proficient in teaching.   • Minimum of two years of classroom teaching experience (with students) in either a school or church setting

Job Description

  • Complete Initial and Ongoing Training
  • Complete the LifeWise Teacher Certification Course within 30 days of the start date and prior to teaching in the LifeWise classroom
  • Participate in the annual LifeWise Summit each year
  • Attend at least one Teachers' Lounge or one LifeWise Meet-Up per year
  • Stay up to date on training and updates by regularly checking LifeWise email

  • Promote and communicate LifeWise's religious mission in all duties and interactions, ensuring alignment with the organization's core values and beliefs
