Assistant Coach - Varsity Cross Country - San Jose

The coach is responsible for planning, organizing, and directing the assigned cross country team, including instructing skills, setting team rules, and conducting tryouts. Essential functions also involve creating a safe learning environment, supervising athletes at all times during activities, and modeling good sportsmanship.

Candidates must possess 2 to 3 years of high school or club cross country coaching experience, along with a high school diploma (Bachelor's degree preferred) and a valid ca class c license with safe driving record. Required abilities include upholding school policies, managing professional relationships, and having access to reliable transportation across the bay area.
