Diabetes Educator RN - FT - Day - Maternal Fetal Medicine Pennington NJ

This role involves providing clinical management and diabetes self-Management education to patients in conjunction with licensed independent practitioners, while also planning and presenting educational programs for healthcare providers, patients, and the community as needed. The educator will formulate individualized plans of care based on assessments, incorporate cultural diversity into education programs, and collaborate with dietitians on nutritional assessments and meal plans.

Candidates must be graduates of an accredited nursing program and possess a minimum of one year of experience as a registered nurse in an outpatient or acute care setting, along with current aha bls certification. A mandatory requirement is attaining certified diabetes educator (Cde) certification within one year of hire.
