Head Start Family Advocate

This role manages a caseload of up to 40 participants (Ages 0-3 or 3-5) and their families, acting as a liaison between home, classroom, and community settings to help families achieve goals related to health, financial wellness, and parenting skills. Responsibilities include conducting home visits, promoting family engagement, assisting with health screenings, supporting enrollment, and collaborating with teaching teams for classroom assistance.

Candidates must possess a child-Development associate certificate (Cda) or meet an alternative requirement involving an oro step 7 status and four years of experience with 0-5-Year-Olds, along with one year of childcare experience. Applicants must also have personal vehicle transportation, maintain active enrollment in the oregon cbr, and obtain cpr/First aid certification within 30 days of hire.
