Core responsibilities
The licensed group therapist is responsible for providing guidance and instruction to foster client growth through therapeutic group facilitation, intervention, and positive role modeling within residential treatment and day reporting programs. This includes developing and co-Managing group curricula, implementing clinical plans based on individual service plans, and ensuring client safety and documentation compliance.
Requirements summary
A minimum of a bachelor’s degree in social work or a related field is required, though a master's degree is preferred. Applicants must possess a valid ohio clinical license in social work or counseling (Lpc, lsw, or lmft) and have prior essential experience delivering mental health services to children in groups with complex needs.
