Starting at $18.00 per hour.

What you will do
As a Youth Support Workers you will provide safety, around-the-clock supervision, mediation, crisis management and social, educational, and recreational support following the daily schedule. You will Conduct a physical count of students within the living area and update the check sheet as required by site operations. Monitor and document client behaviors and activities—transport youth in company vehicles. Communicate any youth-related concerns, behavior changes, emotions, academic progress, and their overall disposition to ensure the treatment plan is adjusted to meet the youth's success.
To be considered you should
Be empathetic, patient, consistent, compassionate, an honest work ethic, and treat others with respect ~ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent ~ Experience or familiarity with youth who have a history of interpersonal violence and/or sexual trauma, or various forms of other traumas or teens having been in/on probation ~ Involvement with the Department of Juvenile Justice and/or the Department of Family Services is preferable ~ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent ~ Be at least 21 years of age ~ Be able to pass a criminal background check, drug screen, physical, and TB test ~ Be able to pass a search of the child abuse central registry.
Schedule
Monday-Friday
12:00 pm-5:00 pm.
