General Description

Under the direct supervision of the Director, People Development, the Professional Development Generalist RN is responsible for course development in-person and computer-based, and the implementation of learning programs that cultivate and nurture Parrish Healthcare’s culture of evidence-based excellence.

The position shall exemplify the desired Culture of Choice® and philosophies of Parrish Healthcare.

Key Responsibilities

1. Plans, markets, develops, implements and evaluates educational initiatives across the organization. 2. Ensures effective student experiences through reviews and evaluations. 3. Conducts training/educational offerings in accordance with regulatory standards. 4. Implements training based on evidenced based practice standards for the purpose of quality improvement. 5. Builds and maintains collaborative partnerships with interdisciplinary departments. 6. Serves as an administrator for the computer-based Learning Management System. 7. Supports new care partner orientation and onboarding across the organization. 8. Participates in process improvement activities using Lean Six Sigma methodology. 9. Performs similar or related duties as assigned. 10. Knows fire, disaster and safety procedures and regulations as it pertains to the work area.
