Group Home Youth Counselor I

The group home youth counselor implements approved service and behavior support plans while providing a therapeutic, family-Style treatment environment for up to 8 youth, overseeing physical care and developing acceptable habits. This role also involves completing safety checks, documentation, facility upkeep during overnight hours, and providing teaching and guidance during waking hours.

A high school diploma or equivalent is required, though a bachelor's degree is preferred, along with a minimum of 6 months of experience working with children or adolescents. Candidates must possess a valid virginia driver's license, clear background checks, and successfully complete in-House training.
