Core responsibilities
The instructor is responsible for providing vocational instruction to inmates based on approved curricula and ensuring compliance with aca, mtc, and fdoc directives. This includes delivering individualized competency-Based instruction in classroom and laboratory settings and developing necessary assessments.
Requirements summary
Candidates must possess either a bachelor’s degree in the vocation they will teach or a high school diploma/Equivalent plus three years of experience in the vocation, along with a valid florida secondary teaching certification. A valid florida driver's license with an acceptable record is also required.
