Instructor, Academics

Instructors are responsible for providing instruction to inmates based on approved curricula and offering basic direction in compliance with various correctional and governmental standards. Essential functions include delivering competency-Based instruction, developing performance objectives, and monitoring inmate progress and behavior.

A bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university is required, along with a valid teaching certificate from the florida department of education or a comparable authority. Two years of relevant teaching experience and a valid florida driver's license are preferred.
