Core responsibilities
The speech language pathologist will collaborate with the special education teacher on daily schedules, testing schedules, and annual meetings, while also providing current student lists for maintaining the master special education roster. The role involves supplying specially designed instruction to meet individual student needs through resource room, inclusion, and/Or pullout services.
Requirements summary
Candidates must possess a master’s degree in speech language pathology or communicative sciences and disorders, along with a valid speech language pathology license or limited license issued by the department of licensing and regulatory affairs (Lara). Experience working with at-Risk students is preferred, if applicable to the school.
