The speech language pathologist collaborates with the special education teacher on daily schedules, testing schedules, and annual meetings, while also providing current student lists for maintaining the master special education list.

Candidates must possess a master’s degree in speech language pathology or communicative sciences and disorders, along with the required speech language pathology license issued by the department of licensing and regulatory affairs (Lara).
