Campus Safety Officer

The campus safety officer is primarily responsible for maintaining a safe and secure campus environment through regular patrols, monitoring surveillance, and responding to emergencies. Duties also include enforcing university policies and local laws, controlling facility access, and handling detailed incident reporting.

Candidates must possess a high school diploma or ged, with one to three years of related experience preferred, along with strong interpersonal and communication skills. Preferred qualifications include a valid nys driver’s license and relevant certifications like nys certified security guard and ny fire department certified fire guard (F-04).
