The instructor is responsible for delivering high-quality, safe, and motivational group fitness classes while increasing attendance through skill and emotional connection. Key duties also involve creating community, addressing member concerns, and ensuring class coverage through securing substitutes.
Candidates must have at least six months of experience teaching group fitness classes in a related discipline and hold a valid professional fitness certification for their specialty, such as Les Mills or Zumba. A nationally accredited Group Fitness Certification or CPT is preferred, along with current CPR/AED certification, and strong outgoing and energetic presentation skills.
