Speech Language Pathologist

The speech language pathologist provides direct, consultative, and supportive diagnostic and therapeutic services for communication and oral motor disorders to students and staff to enhance learning potential. This role involves performing evaluations, authoring iep goals, recommending assistive technology, and maintaining required case documentation.

A master's degree in speech language pathology and the certificate of clinical competency (Ccc) from asha are required, though eligibility as a clinical fellow with supervision available is acceptable. One year of experience in communication and oral motor therapy with developmentally disabled students is preferred but not mandatory.
