The primary responsibility is to safely and effectively conduct both group and individual swim lessons for members and guests. This involves motivating participants to improve their swimming technique, comfort in the water, and self-confidence.
Candidates must be at least 16 years old with an American Red Cross Lifeguard Certification (including CPR/First Aid/AED) or 18 years old with American Red Cross Adult and Pediatric First Aid/CPR/AED Certification. A minimum of one year of instructing swim lessons is preferred, along with familiarity with the aquatics industry and excellent communication skills.
The purpose of this position is to effectively conduct group swim lessons and individual swim lessons in a safe and responsible manner. Motivate members and guests to increase swim technique, comfort in the water are self-confidence. Other duties may be assigned as needed. COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS INCLUDE: Hourly, based on relevant experience to the role. 401K with dollar for dollar match up to 4%. Complimentary club membership.
