  • Market context

New York speech therapy roles stay competitive

In New York, Speech Therapist openings are often tied to school-based and pediatric service needs, so demand can be steady where districts and clinics are staffing for student support. These roles are competitive because employers typically look for a master’s degree, New York licensure/certification, and pediatric experience, with the NYS Teacher of Speech and Hearing Handicapped Certification (TSHH/TSSLD) specifically noted here. If you are considering applying, confirm your credential status first; this platform’s AI-summarized requirements and benefits from the original posting can save time on that review.
