Child Care Specialist

The childcare specialist ensures the safety and well-Being of children under supervision by preparing and leading age-Appropriate activities, assisting with meals, and maintaining compliance with organizational policies. Responsibilities also include direct care tasks such as setting routines, grooming, feeding, and facilitating positive attachment through parenting classes.

Minimum qualifications require a high school diploma or ged, completion of the new mexico early care, education, and family support 45-Hour entry level course, and at least one year of direct experience, along with being a minimum of 21 years old. Candidates must possess strong communication skills, knowledge of child development stages, and current cpr/First aid certifications.
