Part-Time Early Childhood Assistant

The early childhood assistant helps teachers maintain compliance with licensing standards and ensures children receive quality, developmentally appropriate experiences. Key duties involve assisting in maintaining a safe learning environment, directing activities, preparing materials, and supporting daily routines and documentation.

A minimum requirement is a high school diploma or ged, with preference given to candidates holding a cda credential or equivalent; assistants without a cda must be enrolled in a program leading to one. Candidates must also possess emotional maturity, respect for children and adults, flexibility, patience, and the physical/Mental health necessary for childcare responsibilities.
