Teacher Aide

The teacher aide collaborates with the teacher in planning, preparing, and implementing all classroom activities and field trips, while also facilitating parent engagement through various interactions. Essential duties include assisting the teacher in planning activities, recording observations to meet children's needs, preparing meals, maintaining center equipment, serving as a bus monitor when required, and completing necessary reports.

Candidates need less than one year of experience in a child care setting and must possess skills like excellent listening, computer literacy, and the ability to work with diverse populations. Essential education includes a current child development associate (Cda) credential and being in the process of attaining a college degree, along with holding first aid and cpr certifications.
