Elementary Teachers 2026-27 School Year

The elementary school teacher must plan and implement instruction across multiple subjects (Social studies, science, language arts, health, and mathematics) within a blended learning environment, focusing on developing critical thinking skills. Duties also include regularly assessing student progress, communicating results to parents, and collaborating with special education staff.

Candidates must possess a bachelor’s degree or higher with at least 24 credit hours in the content area, along with a valid indiana professional educator license for grades k-5 or 6, or an emergency permit while enrolled in a transition program. A minimum of two years of successful teaching experience in an urban environment and strong technical skills for classroom technology integration are also required.
