Pathfinder (Anticipated 2026-2027) Special Education Teacher

The special education teacher develops and provides specialized instruction tailored to the unique needs of students with disabilities, ensuring they access the general education curriculum through appropriate adaptations and modifications. Responsibilities include monitoring student progress using various assessments, implementing behavior management programs, developing legally compliant individualized education programs (Ieps), and collaborating with staff and parents.

Candidates must possess pa certification in special education pk-12 and demonstrate proficiency in using essential technology like email, microsoft office, and student information systems such as iep writer and skyward. Additional requirements include obtaining current act 114, act 34, act 151 clearances, and completing a school personnel health record prior to the hire date.
