Secondary School Certified Athletic Trainer

The certified athletic trainer is responsible for the evaluation and treatment of outpatients under physician direction, as well as providing coverage for athletic teams, which includes injury prevention and assessment. This role also involves clinical assistance to the physical therapy department and directing support personnel activities.

Candidates must possess a bachelor's degree in athletic training from a caate-Accredited program and hold current certification as a certified athletic trainer by the national athletic trainers association, along with a current tennessee state license.
