Mental Health Counselor 5

The school-Based mental health counselor provides direct mental health services, including individual and group counseling, assessments, treatment planning, and crisis intervention, to elementary school students following the school calendar. This role involves collaborating with school staff and families to promote student social-Emotional development while maintaining accurate clinical documentation and compliance.

Candidates must possess a minimum of 1-2 years of experience in mental health counseling and hold valid maryland licensure, such as lcpc, lcsw-C, or equivalent clinical licenses. A bachelor's degree in a related field is required, with a master's degree preferred.
