Stellar Care and Services is hiring Direct Support Professionals (DSP/Mentors) for our Day Program in the Colorado Springs area.

Schedule

Mon.- Thursday 8 am-4 pm; occasional Friday's and evening shifts 1-3 times a year during events

Compensation

$18.50/hr with $.52 mileage reimbursement

Essential Qualifications

Have obtained a high school diploma or equivalent Have a safe and reliable vehicle Be willing to transport individuals in personal vehicle Carry appropriate and valid vehicle insurance and registration Be able to work independently and in cooperation with others Be able to life and transfer 50-75 lbs. Passion and dedication in caring and advocating for adults with disabilities Have a valid driver’s license

• This is a driving position that will require the use of your personal vehicle to transport the clients we serve.
• The State of Colorado requires that any vehicle used for this purpose pass a detailed multi-point safety inspection.
• Some of the items on this inspection include windshield, suspension, brakes, lights, seatbelts and all other safety features.
• If offered this position, Stellar Care will cover the cost of the inspection, however any repairs required are at the expense of the applicant and must be resolved within 30 days of hire.
• Vehicles 5 years or newer are exempt from this inspection.
