Assistant Teacher Trainee, 0-3 years classroom

The assistant teacher trainee provides care to children in a head start/Early head start classroom while participating in an accelerated training program to earn a cda credential. Responsibilities include supporting child development, maintaining a safe learning environment, and ensuring compliance with regulations.

Candidates must have a high school diploma or ged and complete requirements for infant/Toddler cda within 45 days of hire. Preferred qualifications include experience in early childhood education and knowledge of head start/Early head start programs.
