Core responsibilities

The teacher apprentice provides daily care to children in head start/Early head start classrooms and assists co-Teachers in maintaining a safe and healthy environment. They also work towards completing coursework and observed classroom hours for infant/Toddler child development associate certification.

Requirements summary

A high school diploma is required, along with the ability to complete child development associate certification within six months of hire. Experience in early childhood education or head start programs is preferred.
