The youth development professional plans, implements, and supervises activities for youth, focusing on academic success, healthy lifestyles, and good character. They also monitor and evaluate programs to ensure safety and quality.

Candidates must have a high school diploma or ged and experience working with children. They should also possess cpr and first aid certifications and a valid state driver's license.
