Job Description

We are seeking an energetic and enthusiastic faculty member to teach in our Dental Assisting Program. This is a part-time, professional position reporting directly to the Dean of Education. The primary responsibility will be to teach Dental Assisting courses. Applicants will also be expected to provide academic advising to students, and participate in department training, meetings and graduation.

Requirements

  • Completion of an accredited Dental Assisting program resulting in a Certificate of Completion or a Diploma; an associate degree is preferred
  • Certification:
  • DANB RHS and
  • CDA and/or
  • RDA
  • At least three years of experience as a Dental Assistant chairside
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Highly organized, motivated and results driven
  • Prior higher education/postsecondary teaching experience preferred
