The speech therapist conducts assessments and reassessments of patients' communication and swallowing disorders, planning and supervising individualized therapeutic programs. They also collaborate with other professionals to ensure effective integration of therapy into the patient's care plan.

A master's degree in speech pathology and a current texas license to practice as a speech-Language pathologist are required. Additionally, candidates should have a certificate of clinical competence and preferably one year of experience in a home health setting.
