  • Type: Part TimeAdjunct Instructors Fundamentals & Coaching of Multiple Sports The Division of Health, Mathematics and Sciences is accepting applications for adjunct instructors in the following areas: Fundamentals & Coaching of Multiple Sports (including but not limiting to coaching of basketball, football, golf, tennis, track & field, soccer, softball, volleyball, etc.) We have a need for instructors to teach courses face-to-face for2023-2024 academic year. Face-to-face classes are offered both during the day (Monday through Friday between 8 a.m. and 4:45 p.m.) and in the evenings (starting either at 5:30 or 7 p.m.). Instructors who can teach during the day will receive priority in the application process. Instructors are contracted per course, with a minimum of 10 students. Typical class size is between 10 and 23 students. Review of applications will begin prior to the start of each semester and continues until the positions are filled.

  • Qualified applicants must: Hold a Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science, Physical Education, Kinesiology, or a related field, have substantial experience in coaching and teaching a variety of sports at the collegiate or high school level, and have a strong understanding of coaching methodologies, athlete development, and sports psychology. Interested individuals should exhibit excellent interpersonal and digital communication skills and be familiar with learning management systems (experience with Canvas is preferred).
