Position Title

Adjunct Instructor of Nursing Posting Date Spring 2022 and continuously Hours Per Week Not to exceed 83 hours per month Job Type Adjunct Instructor Position Purpose Clinical or Lab adjunct for Maternal Newborn Nursing Knowledge, Skills And Abilities Facilitate student learning (hands-on and theory) in the clinical or simulation lab setting to help students grow in their knowledge and skills within maternal-newborn nursing. Direct supervision of student in the clinical or lab setting. Provide timely written feedback on student’s performance and notify the Course Coordinator of any problems. Excellent communication skills and the ability to form positive student relationships. Serve as a role model of professional nursing for students and colleagues. Maintain professional, legal, and ethical standard for the practice of nursing. Unencumbered, active RN licensure. Experience Minimum of 1-2 years work or teaching experience in maternal-newborn nursing including labor and delivery, postpartum, nursery. Education Required: BSN will be considered based on credentials and experience.

Preferred: MSN
